Description

Shift your thinking, shift your lifestyle and shift into fun with Trek's Shift 4. The Shift is the answer to people who think that riding may not be an option for them. A low, long geometry inspires confidence and gives you stability and control. A strong aluminum frame and durable components allow for riders up to 350 pounds. A comfortable bike is a ridden bike, so your Shift is equipped with an adjustable stem, upright bars, and a plush, supportive seat to allow the perfect position. If that wasn't enough, you have a suspension fork up front to smooth out any bumps in your path. Plus, this great bike sports 24 gears to top hills with ease and powerful linear-pull brakes for the ride back down. Heavy-duty wheels and puncture-resistant tires add peace of mind. Welcome back to riding, welcome back to the outdoors.

Great for around town!

Pros:
Durable, Smooth ride, Nice Color Flat Black, Lightweight, Versatile, Comfort
Cons:
None so far
Best Uses:
Commuting/City, Mountain Biking, Road Biking
I had been wanting to get outdoors more and change up my fitness plan. I figured biking around town instead of driving would be perfect for that. After test riding this Shift 4 and the Verve 2, it was a No Brainer. The ride on the Shift 4 was smooth and COMFORTABLE. I especially liked the riding position, which you can adjust to your needs. Been on a few 5 mile rides so far with the Wife and the bike is absolutely smooth and the gears are a plus! I was a little hesitant with the price, but it is definatly worth it.
