      Comments:

I admit it, I usually write reviews only when a product sucks. Most products do not suck in my life. Maybe once a year do I get something that so shockingly sucks that I would waste my time and share it with a bunch of strangers as dumb as I was. I loved how this kind of looked like a decent backpack. Perfect for holding my tennis stuff on the way to the court then carrying it from where I lock the bike. But on the five or so mile ride to the court, the thing just fell off and my gear was sprawled out in the middle of the street. On the way home, I thought maybe I just didn't push the rack firmly enough into the hooks so I gave it a second chance. This time the bag came off in the middle of Park Avenue and almost caused a car accident and destroyed all my tennis gear. For those not familiar with Park Avenue, Google Different Strokes. To the complete morons who designed this bag. Next time Google panniers and click on the photos option and you'll notice that they all have either 1) a three point attachment system with two hooks and some kind of gizmo or bungee securing the bottom of the rack or 2) the hooks have some kind of system that has the hooks locking to the rack. Without one of those two solutions, you have near certainty that this handsome bag will fly off the rack. You either didn't test it, didn't test it long enough, or didn't test it with a diversity of racks, or something. But somehow you created a product likely to cause a car accident and hurt someone because you were too lazy, arrogant, and or inept to simply copy one of the many functional proven designs out there. Why did I buy it? Because it looked nice and it didn't occur to me a product that serves no other purpose but to attach itself to a bike rack and hold stuff while you ride a bike would detach itself. I didn't know people at a legit company could actually be that bad at their jobs. My instincts and common sense said it probably isn't going to be a very secure design and I worried it might shake around a bit and make noise. Those issues I could live with. I could not fathom that a bike pannier would fly off my bike when loaded with about 15 pounds of gear. To anyone considering buying these bags, wait for the manufacturer to put a three point attachment system or a more secure locking mechanism on the hooks. To the morons who designed this. Your incompetence nearly causes a serious car accident when my bag came off in the middle of a major avenue in New York City. Get it together, take your job seriously, and don't release a product unless it's ready for use on public roads.
