    Comments:

This is a really nice looking bike, reasonably light, handles well and I love the combination I have with the straight handle bars (with shock absorbing grips), the additional front ('grannie') gear and the road wheels with slightly heavier tyres.

      Comments:

I bought the 7.3x in 22.5" in matte black 2-3 months ago. I'm 6'3" so the 22.5" fits okay, it might be a little small but raising the seat to the right height makes it fit pretty well. It's quick, nimble, and easy to ride. I feel great going for 10-15 mile rides or commuting to friends' houses, going to the gym, etc. It is a bit of a rough ride when hitting tough patches. If I could do it over again, I would look at the 7.4 more seriously since it comes with a carbon fork which would dampen the rigidness. I really didn't like the gray color of the 7.4 though. Overall, this is a great bike and you can't go wrong with any trek products.

      Comments:

Traded in an older Trek for this one and am glad I did. Thought the older one was great but the upgrade was well worth it. Just a hard seat is all but I'm getting used to it. Thanks! Bought at Meade's Bike shop in Sterling IL, you should be proud of them as one of your dealers they are very responsive and friendly and great to deal with. Won't go anywhere else.

        Comments:

Just rode more than 400 miles in 8 days on the Erie Canal Trail. Much crushed stone surface, some gravel, and lots of paved roads. Handled all surfaces well. Front end seemed a little twitchy on some surfaces, but that might be because I usually ride a road bike on paved surfaces. In every other way, the bike exceeded my expectations.

        Comments:

I bought this bike just about a month ago after doing a good deal of research. I owned a Trek Navigator in the past so I already knew about the Trek quality. I have close to 50 miles on it and so far it has been a good experience. It has been a comfortable ride. One person said "He's brighter than my future."

I am very satisfied with the 7.3FX. I use it to commute to work and back but intend to ride a few nearby trails as well. Couldn't be happier with my choice.

I have had to turn to biking for intense aerobic work as running injuries become too frequent. This bike is awesome for my purposes - finally something which mirrors what I seek from running! Great investment in biking for fitness without breaking the bank. Very smooth and clean design/features/accessories. I'm not a bike nut, but this bike has me headed that way.

            Comments:

I bought this to replace my 1990's Raleigh City Lite Technium City Sport. The 7.3 is lighter, faster and time will tell on it's service life. I use it to commute to work. It's between 7.3 and 8.3 miles to work each way. The very first day I cut 7:30 off of my commute one way. That was amazing!! My commute is pretty flat with the exception of a fixed bridge that I cross mid commute. This bike climbs that bridge with ease. I also ride casually each night with my wife and we have been going to AC or OC boardwalk on weekdays for fun. The two issues that I do have are 1. The handling is good but when I reach down to get the water bottle and only have one hand steering I get an uneasy uncontrolled feeling (with two hands it's really good) 2. When shifting gears I have to keep lightly manipulating the shifter 6 through 2 til it engages. I'm 48 years old and recently got back into riding after a couple of knee surgeries. Over all its a great looking perfect bike for me.
